Free! Drug and alcohol management presentation

The new WHS legislation places greater emphasis on business owners and officers exercising due diligence, and that can include taking appropriate steps to ensure that people are fit for work. Fitness for work means a person must be in a state to perform their assigned tasks competently - and in a manner that does not threaten the health or safety of either themselves or others. Fitness for work should include consideration of alcohol and drug related issues.

Through our alliance with Integrity Sampling, Qudos Club is delighted to offer members a free drug and alcohol management presentation. The presentation will be tailored for your workplace, and delivered to your management team. The presentation will include interactive discussion on:

  • Management of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) in the workplace
  • The importance of AOD policy and procedures
  • Case studies - employer mistakes in managing AOD issues
  • Recognition of potential misuse of AOD
  • Education on the effects of alcohol consumption on Blood alcohol content
  • Education / awareness on illegal drugs
  • Safety considerations for prescription and over-the-counter medications
  • Discussion of AOD testing programmes
  • Privacy and confidentiality issues

The presentation will take between 90-120 minutes and help you consider the best strategy for your organisation. The offer is Australia-wide and subject to availability. To take advantage of this tremendous free offer, email or call us now.
