Policies are the means by which an organisation's top management sets out its
commitment to quality. Policy statements form the apex of a documented quality system -
providing guidance to employees, and assurance to customers.
A quality policy statement is typically displayed at a strategic location - such as
in reception or a main office. It is also included in an organisation's 'Quality manual'.
An overall statement may also be supplemented by other policies on issues
such as privacy, refunds etc.
Quality Manager includes a sample policy statement, a discussion on the
subject of policy matters, plus a compiled quality policy manual - with an
organisation chart, and other content.
